So after doing a fair amount of work on the Blaze at my friends garage, it wouldn't start when I tried to leave. The security dash light had come on and every time i tried to start the truck, it would start for a second and then immediately turn off. Upon looking on the internet, the general consensus on how to start it was to turn the key on for 10 minutes, turn it off, turn it on for 10 minutes, turn it off, then turn it off for 10 minutes and it will start right up. It did just that, however, when I got home and turned it off, i started it 3 or 4 times and the last time it did the same thing again. So i got back on the internet, and after searching for awhile, discovered you have to leave the key on for 10 seconds after each attempt at starting it when doing the relearn. After doing this and the rest of the relearn procedure, it has started fine for me for over 3 weeks without flaw.
