Hey everyone, Just bought my 1996 Chev Blazer today with 280,000 km's on it. Dont know much about these trucks yet. Anything I should know? Common problems? How are these vehicles in the snow?
Great site here too!
Cheers

-Brent

Welcome to the party boat. As for snow capabilities; they are pretty awesome.

Yeah thats what I thought, I have 4 wheel drive as well. A lot of rust on my vehicle unfortunatly, and the horn doesnt work lol. But overall seems like a solid machine

Welcome to the forum. Here's a few links to help with the rust if its as bad as you say. Are you handy with a MIG welder?

Welcome from Canada! Blazers like most vehicles have issues but all in all if you treat it right it'll be fun!
Tons of things to research here, ummm common annoyances is one thread... just start looking around for whatever & a lot have said they've found ideas about blazers they didn't even know they wanted lol.
It is a great forum & pretty much anything about blazers, jimmy's, bravada's, K5's, tahoes etc, all old or new is here or someone knows something about a particular issue.

<edit> ^ see what I mean?! ^

Thanks for the warm welcome. Kevlar, The rust is pretty bad, but the previous owner at least filled in the holes in the side skirts. The side skirts are still pretty rusted just need to sand it over and prime it.
Link doesnt work and ive never used a welder lol
