1st gen s10 blazer dash build
I own a 1986 s10 blazer with the 2.8L engine. I recently deleted the AC and heat. I want to remove the current dash and all the now unnecessary duct work. Im good at fiberglassing and basic woodwork but have never built a new dash before. I plan on keeping the stock guage cluster unless there are some real easy guages to replace them. any suggestions from those who already have, on how to start the build? What is the easiest way to attatch the new dash to the vehicle?

if you have the knowledge of custom fab, i doubt the task will be too much at hand.
You can always delete the original gauge cluster and make a new one out of aftermarket gauges. eventually once my project rolls together, i will have a whole new setup of gauges in my cluster location and eliminate alot of extra weight with removing excess wiring.
Just remember, cheap aftermarket gauges are... cheap. you get what you pay for, and dish out the money to do it right the first time.
