You will know if theres a vacume leak at the throttle shaft it makes a vert distguishing sound. You will hear a loud whistling noise after the engine is warmed up.I have this problem on my gmc truck with tbi.I have to buy a throttle shaft repair kit.

Sorry, I missed the part where you checked for vacuum leaks, if you can find someone with a scan tool that will show live data on your OBD1 system, Something isnt working right. I would test the TPS, that could be done with a voltmeter.

Thanks guys. Guess Ill have to take her into work and plug her up to the scanner. I don't hear any hissing noises after warm up. The injectors do seem to be firing a nice cone mist. I didn't see any drops or defined lines. But I will run a cleaner through the system and see if that helps.
To me I would think it would have to be in the same "Circuit" since it runs fine with the ignition base timing wire disconnected but then again Im not a master tech lol. Slowly working on it after I get this figured out.
I will plug her up tomorrow and let yall know what I see on the scanner.
Thanks Andrew and 1sttime

Scanner didn't tell me anything... go figure lol. Got a new fuel pressure regulator with no change. So now Im back to the basics. Gonna test the Dizzy again and maybe it will like a AC Delco one.
