Default 94 jimmy transmission

My moms 94 Jimmy the gear shifter need a slight adjustment , to remove the key we need to pull it up a bit (gear shifter). Is there and adjustment on the tranny for this?

its right beside the frame up by the front of the drivers door just loosen the bolt and slide the rod for the linkage until things line back up then re-tighten the bolt had to do mine about 6 months ago. Can go out and take a pic of it in a little bit if that helps you any.

First off let me apologize for the delay it's been a crazy couple days here.
Secondly if you still need it here's the pic (taken from a haynes manual since it wasnt coming out very clear from under my truck)

(Click picture to enlarge)
the one labeled screw is what you want to loosen (having somebody in the driver seat to move the shift lever until things properly lineup makes this immensely easier) once the shifter is in proper position tighten the screw back down.
NOTE: once tightened move shifter through all gears a couple times to ensure proper alignment on the indicator, if it's off loosen and repeat the procedure.
Hope it helps.
