RPO: AD3 and RPO decoder tool
Ok so I decoded my RPO codes for my Blazer, and I was looking through them again today and noticed the code "AD3." AD3 description is: Window, hinged, roof.
What does that mean? Does that mean a sunroof? My Blazer has a sunroof but I've never seen the first gen S-series have a sunroof from the factory on them. Up until now I always thought that the sunroof in my Blazer was aftermarket.
Oh and from being a user there, I want to tell you guys here about the Thirdgen.org RPO decoder. Now its for Thirdgen F-bodies, but it also has a lot more RPO codes in it that work for just about any GM car or truck for the same period of time as the thirdgens were around.
http://www.thirdgen.org/rpodecoder
This is what I used to get my codes.
Thanks for the help guys!

Those are my options, in xps format. Any Windows 7 machine will read xps natively, but everything else will need an xps reader. You can save your options sheet in the Thirdgen RPO decoder in XPS format also.

That's an interestig RPO code. Maybe sunroof because that code wouldn't make Sense if it pertained to your rear hatch. All gen 1 blazers have a tailgate/liftglass. I could be wrong...
Also, if you want to use another decoder, I use compnine.com. They have a Vin decoder online that shows you the RPO codes on your vehcle and their meanings. It's a GM only vin decoder, however.

Thanks the for advice. I used compnine for my Camaro, but it doesn't have any other data on my Blazer other than its a Blazer and has 4x4 so I used the Thirdgen decoder, got just about every code on the sheet.
Its kind of confusing seeing that RPO code there now after I already assumed that the sunroof was aftermarket, now, I'm thinking it might not be. I would think it was for something on the hatch, but theres a seperate RPO in my sheet for the hatch, that says that its electric for the electronic release, and the description of AD3 states roof, and not rear glass/ hatch/ what have you.
And theres the sunroof.

It looks stock. That or a good aftermarket job. Is is manual or electric?
Do you mind if I look up your VIN? I want to see what it's only showing.

Its a manual, non removable type sunroof. It looks stock from the inside and outside, so like you said either it is, or someone put a lot of work into it and did it right. Its got a handle on the back of it that seals it when its shut, and keeps it open when its open. Its not clear glass, its got a dotted pattern on it, I don't know how to describe it without pics, haha.
And sure, I don't mind: 1GNCT18ZXK8254923

I did some more research, I came across a brochure for the first gen S-series Blazers and in it they advertise an available sunroof, so I guess mines stock.
But does anyone else have a Blazer with a sunroof? Or know anyone? I went to the junkyard and there they had about 40-50 first gen S-series Blazers, and none of then had a sunroof in them.
Did I get lucky and find a rare option for the S10 Blazers?
