`92 S-10 Blazer- starts, rough idle
Hi, a new guy, here. My Blazer starts and runs rough and barely idles. It is the big V-6 and has a 2 barrel carb body. I noticed while under the hood, gunning it by hand that the left injector seemed to not be working at all. There was no gas coming out of it. Is this situation easily fixed (like taking it off and blowing it out with air)? Thanks. Joe
No you will not be able to clean the injector with air. You could swap the injectors from right to left to make sure it is the injector itself and not an electrical issue. Replacement Injectors are about $65 each. You could try to get an injector from the junk yard if price is a problem . The injector opens and closes with pulses from the ECM. There is no path for air. You can test the electrical pulse with NOIDS you can get at Harbor Freight.
