My brother has a V6 2.8 Blazer with "service engine soon" light on. I tried to pull the codes using the paperclip and got the following: 1 slower flash followed by 2 faster (3 times) then 1 slower flash followed by 5 faster (3 times) the last one was 3 slower flashes by 4 faster (3 times) and then it went to 1 slower flash followed by 2 faster.

I read the forum and believe the code 34 is for the MAP sensor but have not found anything for the 15 code. Please help

15 is Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Temp indicated

Yes, it will.

Unhook the batter or remove the ECM fuse for 30 seconds or so and then start it, put it in drive with the brake on for 5 minutes to do an idle re-learn.

 

The code will clear itself if its fixed. Pulling power for 15 minutes will hard clear it tho

 

What is the Idle re-learn process for stickshift?

 

For a manual, just drive it.

 

Odb1 doesn't have a relearn process.

 

We changed the MAP sensor and he is still having problems with the car reving up and down. any other suggestions?
