Default 1991 4x4 4.3L TBI... Boggy, maybe cat issues

Ok, My baby has been boggy as of late, and seems to be really down on the power. She feels sometimes like she is driving into a large wall of air. Occasionally I will get a sulfur smell coming from the exhaust. So, I thought it might be a clogged cat. I took her to Midas for the free pressure test. The drilled a hole before the cat and after it. When they were done, they said it was good with zero backpressure.

The tech checked the radiator and said it looked good and didnt appear to be a head gasket.

Then he checked the oil. The tech said it smelled "gassy" and looked a little thin. He mentioned something about possibly having a intake leak, and that it was letting fuel get by where it shouldnt be.

I havent noticed bad fuel economy, and she usually dont give the gassy smell. I have not had a CEL come on at all, or any other warning signs.

It's starting to worry me that maybe the engine is starting to go....

its a 1991 S-10 Blazer, 4x4, 2dr, 4.3L TBI "Z" engine.

sounds like a fuel pressure problem, get a fuel pressure reading. I think the fuel pump is a high pressure pump. A low pressure reading would be low power, but it would still run. The pump is in the tank
