1993 4.3 cpi fuel pressure issue help please
Ok so I've been trying to solve this problem for about 2 weeks now nothing is working I turn the key on and the fuel pressure gauge reads 60psi until the pump shuts off then bleeds down to zero spider injection system replaced nut kit replaced fuel filter replaced and I bought a whole new sending unit with new fuel pump on it all replaced within the last two weeks really frustrating any help is appreciated

So when you hit the key, it shows 60, but as soon as the pump shuts off (2 seconds or so) it bleeds back down to zero? There is a leak somewhere. What brand of parts did you use? New, used, or rebuilt?
You need to isolate the fuel pump and test the pressure there. That will determine if the problem is in the pump, or in the injectors. You will need to modify the pressure test rig so that the fuel pump dead ends at the gauge. You might have to run to home depot for some fittings. I ended up testing mine out of the truck, in a bucket of gasoline, because I couldn't get a good connection with it in the gas tank. You could also put the gauge on the end of the fuel filter, as well, if that makes it easier.
If the pressure holds there, the problem is in the injectors/regulator. If it still won't hold pressure, the pump is bad.
There's a metric butt-load of threads about this on here! Do some searching on here, figure out where the problem is. It's not voodoo, it's just a blazer! LOL

That's what I would think. If you isolated the pump from the injector, and it held pressure, it would have to be in the injector or regulator.
