Ok so first of i have a 1993 Chevy S10 blazer with a 4.3 cpi and i got rear ended a few days ago. Well I noticed ever since i got rear ended the fuel pump in my tank will kick on when i turn to key on and then it will shut off like its supposed to but after i start the car the fuel pump stays on. With the way gas prices are right now i cant afford to be using all that gas so if anybody knows what could cause this or how it can be fixed that would be much appreciated

You've got me confused here. The fuel pump is supposed to stay on after the engine starts, otherwise the motor will stop. Can you clarify what you meant?

I guess some might be louder than others. You can't hear mine from the interior with the engine running.
