1993 running problems

my 93 runs fine and drives fine but after a while the service engine soon light comes on and the truck cuts off when you come to a complete stop anybody got any suggestions

check the code by jumpering the top right inputs on on your ob1 module under the dash on drivers side. but it sounds like you may need to clean out your EGR valve.
