Default 1994 s10 blazer 4.3L (W type) ODB scanner

Hello i have a 1994 s10 blazer tahoe lt has a 4.3L engine (W in the vin).
I just had a shop replace the injectors (spyder) and fuel lines (800.00).

The service engine soon light keeps coming on. I can't afford to keep taking in so thought i'd buy a code scanner and see if i can do this myself.

Not sure which scanner to get OBD1 i believe but not sure.
It has a plug on right side of drivers side under the steering wheel.
The plug is 2 rows of 6 (12 pin in all).

What scanner do you suggest?

I'm looking at this one: Equus 3120 Innova Diagnostic Code Scanner
http://www.amazon.com/Equus-3120-Dia...4745305&sr=1-1

I also need the ODBII as my brother has a 2000 Ford truck (sorry) lol

Thanks
Bobby

And you don't need a scanner, just a paperclip. Jumper pin A to pin B (top right-hand pins) together, then turn on ignition switch (do not start the vehicle).

Start counting the flashes. It will repeat each code three times, then move to the next. First code will be 12 (flash pause flash-flash) and last code will also be 12.
