Question 4.3 tb engine troubles

On my tb the throttle shaft seals have gone bad.It has a vacume leak and is making whistling sound where the seals are.How hard is it to replace them and do I have to buy a complete rebuild kit for the TB?
Thanks in advance for your help.

96,you dont have tbi,so it shouldnt be a big deal. just a few bolts and a gasket.

i dont even think you can buy the bushings by themselves, nor aftermarket for that matter. have any yards around there? might have to buy a used tb. ive dealt with many tbi units.

Carburetor Throttle Shaft Repair Kit 3/8"" ZA-02

I'm not trying to endorse a product but this is what I was able to find, however finding a used one in the junkyard may be cheaper. The TBI's are pretty easy to take in and out. Would suggest getting a rebuild kit no matter which way you go while its out.
