Default 4wd Help

I was wondering if anyone has converted there electronic transfer case to a manual transfer case and if so was it difficult to do?

I have been having trouble getting into 4hi but can get into 4lo, have replaced the encoder motor, vacuum switch on transfer case, front axle switch and the vacuum actuator under the battery and cleared the codes but it still won't shift into 4hi and I have run out of ideas, I did all this last winter then gave up as it got to cold to lay on the ground, I checked the codes again today and am getting code 2 encoder motor.

This is a 94 s10 blazer Vin w.

I would check the wiring going from the encoder motor to the 4x4 computer. It seems like the computer is not getting signal from the encoder when it hits 4hi telling it to stop.

Are you sure you have all your vacuum lines connected and no vacuum leaks?
