This is my first post and I have lots of ?'s about my newly purchased 89' S-10 Blazer 4.3L 4x4. I haven't had a chance to get a manual yet. I started to do what I thought would be a simple job and change the oil and could not find the oil filter. I hope you can help me out and give me any advise for this normally routine job. Thanks.

 

Have a look at the air-dam wanna-be skid-plate under the radiator for a small door.

 

If it's like my truck it will be mounted to the drivers side fender. Pop the hood and you'll see it.

Thanks for the tip. How easy is that? Just pop the hood and there it is right behind the driver side headlight.
I had to look at it twice to make sure that was it. Thanks again.
