My windshield wipers just stopped the other day, it was below freezing and snowing. It has warmed up and everything has melted. It is not the fuse in the fuse box. Is there another fuse somewhere else? Any ideas on what it could be?

Ah! Finally something that I'm sure I know the answer to! I also have an '89 S10 and the same thing happened to me twice, in heavy downpour
.
Check the ground on the wiper motor, it's the bottom left bolt and has a piece of metal connected to it. Make sure it's tightened down, they have a tendency to rattle loose. Just make sure you don't overtighten! It WILL snap off! Trust me
