Default 91 4.3 TBI not running well

I just got my 91 blazer 4x4 running. it has the 4.3 TBI but it's not running good. It's sat up for a few years with a bad motor but I replaced it.Now its running but appears to be dumping too much fuel at idle due to black smoke and fuel smell. When its turning over to crank you can watch the injectors and looks like they are spraying way too much fuel, but if you press the gas pedal some it looks like they don't spray as much. Could the injectors be the wrong ones for this engine? I'm not sure they were the originals from this blazer or not because they had been removed before I got it. These were in the parts that came with it so I just used them to get it running. Or could it be something sending a code to the computer making it put too much fuel to the engine? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Find some different injectors from a pull yard or ebay<-(perfeered source for reman ones) and try those. Who knows what was in that box.

I would try another set, there is a reason they were taken out by the PO...

Here at NAPA we are able to return something if its not what we needed, so I would try that, if it works, keep em, if its same prob, clean em up and replace them.

My nephew, the one I got it from< happen to come by yesterday and I showed him a couple of things that looked like they were missing. The MAP sensor was missing and a relay over on the firewall by the master cylinder. I found the MAP sensor after I figured out what I was looking for but I got to find that relay (not sure what its for) and put it back on. I think the fuel filter and/or injectors may be clogged some due to sitting up. I'm gonna get some more fresh gas and injector cleaner and try that first then go from there.
