hi i have a 1993 blazer with a w block and a 1991 blazer with a z block are any of the parts like intake interchangeable

In '93 GM came out with a internal balance shaft on the S10 4.3L trucks. This is a shaft that resides in the block and under the intake manifold and above the cam shaft, your '91 wont have it. I don't know yet if the intakes will swap between an internal balanced engine and non-internally balanced engine. I will be attempting it soon. Real soon.

There is also a difference between the vin w and vin z engines electronics. However if you swap all the sensors, wiring, and fuel injection system from one block to the other everything should work, provided the intake can be swapped.

Just had a thought, I have a bare block with the internal shaft sitting on a press cart in my garage. Someone gave it to me. I think tonight I will take a look at it.

the 1993 is the blazer im having problems with and i got a 91 for parts the 93 has that cpi injection and if i could would like to use the one from the 91 to replace with tbi thanks also do you know if the rest of the blazer will works for parts on the 93 are most of the parts interchangable once again thanks .............mike
