Is it leaking through the injector nozzle or around the injector. The injector itself is pressed into the TBI and sealed by an o-ring. If you take of the top of the TBI you can use a screw driver to pop out the injector to verify the o-ring is ok. If you need a new gasket and or O-ring a TBI rebuild kit incudes them I believe. Not sure if you can get the O-Ring and fuel pressure regulator gaskets by themselves. You may be able to as i have never checked into it. If it is leaking through the nozzle then you have a faulty injector. If you get a Haynes manual it covers TBI unit very well. Including removing the injectors and installing them. It could also be leaking from the gaskets between the fuel cover and the injectors. If it is just leaking from a gasket or o-ring it will be a simple fix. An injector would be a little more expensive but they are not too bad from Autozone. I think the last time I purchased an injector they were around $60-$65 each.

Well messed with the distributor today and it started and sounded good. Bolted everything back up and it wouuldn't start. Loosened the distributor hold down bolt to adjust again and it wouldn't start, notice the fuel pump isn't making any noise like usual(after market) so i check fuses. The fuse to the computer is blown or ecm. Replace with 30 amp fuse (suppose to be 10) and the connector to the injector starts to fry. Melted the top connector right off the injector(metal part). Now i need a new fuel injector. Bought the connector today. Can't believe it started today though. How do you get the injector out of the TBI now? I took a star driver today and tried and the screw is stripped big time. Whoever worked on it before messed it up, but it's not that bad, just won't grip it to turn the screw out. Now what do do/???

Take fuel injector cover off, use two screw drivers one to provide leverage and one to pry. Lay one screwdriver accross the top of the TBI and use the other to pry on top of the injector. The injecotor should pop out. (Pick up a Haynes maual)

Note to self: never replace a smaller amp fuse with a larger amp fuse

Well, replaced the fue; injector and the fuse to factory specs. Stats but i need to get the timing done. It pings a bit now. 1st time in a while it has ran and acually drove.
