Default 93 Blazer codes 35 and 43

1993 S10 Blazer 4x4, w/ AT engine CPI code W. I was having trouble with it starting after it sits 20-30 minutes. It acts like it's flooded because when I push the throttle to the floor it will start fine. Engine started to miss so much I changes the plugs, cap and rotor. 3 smelled like gas. Ran much better, but I pulled the codes and it showed 35. I disconnected the battery, replaced the IAC, started it and the idle shot up to 2000RPM. After resetting the ECM twice since the first, it still idles too fast. 1500 in neutral and 1000 in gear. Pulled codes again and now I get code 43. Still having a problem losing power, especially on hills. Runs great when it cold. Ideas?

43 is for the knock sensor circuit or electronic spark control. Your knock sensor is down behind the distributor and you may have disturbed the connector on it while you were inside the distributor. I would be concerned about #3 stinking like gas too. Your spark controller is under the rotor inside the distributor, may want to pull it out and have it tested at the parts store, or replace, its about 50 bucks, and the bottom of it may be covered in rust.

35 is for the IAC cicuit, maybe try blasting it out with cleaner instead of buying new parts.
