93 S10 Blazer quit Running

Default 93 S10 Blazer quit Running

My wife was driving my 93 S 10 Blazer and she shut it off.. when she tried to restart It would not fire.

4.3ltr V6 2 wheel drive
No cam or Crank sensor. Replace coil and Distrubtor. getting gas but not firing.. What could be the problem still?? I need some help.. been down for over 5 weeks now. tired of riding bike to work..LOL only car we have..

check for spark at the plugs
check condition of the plugs
check for the correct fuel pressure

try moving the blue and red wires on drivers side of intake that caused problems with mine its a 9 dollar part, its called the injector connector. ggod luck

I have checked for spark, pulling the spark plugs and they are in good condition.. have 60 psi fuel pressure I did an external spark test.. No spark.. replaced coil and distributor.

Do you have 12v at the coil? The pickup coil in the distrib new or? Pull the coil wire out of the distrib and set it on the engine...get a good strong spark out out it?

Check for power coming from the wires that plug into the distributor and coil?

+1 on distributor module

I had exactly the same problem with my '88 s10 4.3. Ran fine, wife and pulled over to have dinner, got back in and it wouldn't start. Turn out to be the distributor module. $ealer charged me about $500 to replace the distributor.

With my year/model a new dist with a module was $132.
