I have a 1994, 4 dr, V6 Vortec engined blazer and I was wondering what the fuel capacity was on it(how many gallons the gas tank holds). I searched on google and I do not have a manual, any help would be great.

 

Posted many times before:

2 door = 19 gallons
4 door = 18 gallons

 

I was wondering this the other day

And for those that use liters it's as follows:

2 door = 19 gallons / 71.92 liters
4 door = 18 gallons / 68.14 liters



On another note with the gas tank, is there a low fuel light on the 95 Blazer. I ran the truck yesterday until the needle was in the red and filled up as I was getting worried that I would run out. Wanted to see how many liters my fill up was going to be.



 

Thank you. On the needle issue, um i know my 94 dosent have one so im guessing the 95 does not if u ran it that low

 

Glad I found this in the search... then why does the owners manual say 20 gallons? UGH!

 

My manual says 20 too. I have the digital cluster in mine and the cute little gas pump starts blinking when you get low on fuel. It worls and only becaise I let it get that low while resurecting it from the drad. Do I trust either one of these? Of course not. The running out of gas thing really sucks and I got over that in my teens. Just fill it up at 1/4 and you van't go wrong.

 

I put 20.2 gallons in mine when I put a gas tank/fuel pump in it.

 

filled 66 litres into a 68 litre tank .... going to stop running it so low although it said I had a 1/4 tank left. fuel economy sucks . this 66 ($77.50) litre goes 350km

 

When my 92 2 door S10 4X4 was nearly new I coasted into a station and pumped 20.2 gallons of gas into it.

 

Mine was 20 gallons, at least that what the part said when I ordered a new one for my truck.
converting that to canadian liters 3.78*20 would be equal to 75.6 liters.
