Default 94 blazer won't start

I have a 94 blazer Tahoe 4d...great little tuck when it's running. It's been sitting for a while and last week we charged up the battery and brought it in to work on it. Drove fine while we were getting it in the garage. Battery is fine, fuel is fine, but now the truck won't start. I don't think it's a solinoid issue, as it consistently won't start. Any advice? Ps. I am not a tech by any stretch..

does it turn over but not start or is just clicking? if it turns over, do you hear the fuel pump whine with the ignition on?

No turn over, nothing. I can hear a crack that sounds like a spark coming from the engine area ( starting with the hood open) right when I crank the key but no juice is getting to the engine.

No whine from the fuel pump either. Just the sound of a spark.

The battery is new and we've tested it under load...it's holding power fine. I will check the connections to the starter though..that sounds along the lines of what I think it may be....
