94 chevy blazer high idle flooding out

Default 94 chevy blazer high idle flooding out

my blazer when ou start it is at high idle and floods out.it all startedwhen i was sitting at a light the light turned green and it shut off now when i go to star it the idle is high any ideas on what wold be wrong.help please

High idle could be due to a vacuum leak. Stalling out due to flooding could be an internal fuel leak (common on the CPI engines). I would start with a fuel pressure test.

did afuel pressure test it is at 55 psi with the key on.changed the fuel regulator and spider wires still no sart smells of gas.the spark plugs are getting wet of fuel there is spark but not that strong new wires and pugs

Does the fuel pressure leak down once the pump shuts off? If it does, then you still have a leak.

it seems to stay but now the blazer doesnt start it just cranks it still smells like gas

Have you tested for proper spark timing & intensity?
