Default 94 s10 blazer ls swap?

Hey guys, I was wondering what parts would I need to complete my ls swap on my 94 s10 blazer 2wd, and also would my stock transmission be able to bolt on and plug in to the ls harness?

You should be able to search and find some builds from people who have done this.

I can tell you from swapping a 94 LT1 v8 into my Trans Am that had a CC quadrajet 305, that there are a lot of variables depending on what you want to do.

If you want to keep EFI, and have everything work . . .then there will be some detailed wiring involved. Not impossible, but you will definitely need wiring diagrams for everything.

If you went carb'd it should be a little easier, but that wouldn't be my preference.

Since it's 2wd, I would say the fastest/easiest/cheapest way to do it would be to just get a complete drop out. . engine/trans/wiring/ecm. Then you can just drop in the full drivetrain as one unit. Those can be had from about $1300-1800 on ebay from what I've seen.

I believe with that method, you should only need engine mount brackets for the LS, and possibly a new drive shaft. Might need to modify trans cross member too, but I'm not sure.

Will need to do exhaust also, either custom y-pipe to stock manifolds (if they fit) or they do make swap headers. (also easier since you have 2wd) Oh and I think a set of electric fans, as I believe the mechanical fan hits the radiator with on most v8 swaps.
