Abs light comes on only after reaching speeds of 8mph.

The wheel speed sensors may be losing track of the teeth. Try to clean your wheel speed sensors and also the gears that it senses.

My problem with this abs light coming started when I applied the brakes hard on snow and the the anti lock brakes worked then. After pulling from a stop the abs light came on at 8mph and anti lock brakes quit working after that. What can you clean wheel speed sensors with?

Mine was coming on at 15 and going off when decelerating at 15. Factory manual says brake light switch on the pedal. Cured mine.
