In an effort to get my light to go out, after bleeding all four wheels a couple times, I tried to bleed out the two bleeder screws coming out the top of the ABS box. They were both bone dry and I couldn't get any fluid out of them. Should I have been able to, or is that not their real purpose?

The light has been on since I replaced rusted out line from the ABS box all the way back to the rear wheel cylinders. Slamming on the brakes multiple times wasn't enough to get the light out.
