accumalator vs dryer

I have a 1989 s10 blazer 4.3. What is the difference between the accumulator and the dryer? They look identical but I can only find the dryer on mine

If you are talking about the a/c, the only difference is the name. Dryer is what it used to be referred to by because of the dessicant material used inside to trap moisture.
