Default Aftermarket EGR, anyone use Advantech?

Was having some issues with random idle problems on my truck and have found it to be the EGR, has anyone ever used the Advantech or Airtex EGR valves? ive seen both names but i think its the same part. The seem to run WAY less than the other and i cant imagine how bad they could screw up something with that few moving parts. Thanks in advance

Nope... Clean it instead of replace it.

Anything from airtex is garbage. You get what you pay for.

They usually just get dirty. pull it off, grab a can of brake cleaner and your wifes toothbrush and have at it. Clean the ports, and the little pintle. Push in the pintle with your finger while scrubbing too.
