I've searched and to be honest I've probable read a thread that explains exactly what my problem is but I am kinda a noob at some of this stuff and I don't know for sure what I'm reading a lot of times. I took a pic of my leak and was hoping someone could tell me what part to replace.

 

Also, it doesn't seem to leak until I start up the blazer.

 

I'm just guessing because in the picture , it just shows coolant on the steering box . So I would guess a hose or radiator leak . If its not a hose then try some radiator stop leak , I just bought a 79 ford f150 and the heater core was unhooked so I put the stop leak in and warmed the engine up and turned on the heater , it looked like I had a steam engine in the truck but it went right away within a couple minutes and I have not had any trouble yet .

 

hate it when the steering box leaks coolant! it has to be dripping on it from above.

if its not the hose, find out what it is, and fix it the right way.

 

I agree stop leak or similair fixes do more damage in the long run than good.They clog up radiators especialy.

 

You might want to check the radiator petcock, it may just need tightening (its located on the bottom driver side of the radiator). Also the driver side radiator tank (plastic part of radiator) will sometimes crack and leak. If this is the case you will either need to buy a new rad or take it to a shop that specializes in radiators to have it repaired. Stop leak nor epoxy will work for this. Lets us know what you find...

 

Since its leaking from above, I would start with the upper rad hose, then work your way down from there

 

remember gravity and wind direction when searching for the leak
