Blower motor completely destroyed... how?
I picked up my truck from a local transmission shop and they told me my blower motor suddenly stopped working. When I turned it on it would just vibrate the dash like crazy. When I pulled it to see what happened this is what it looked like.
I didn't see any debris at all when I pulled it out. Has anyone seen this happen before?

If you still have the blower motor out, I suggest you really try to get down into the evaporator housing to clean it out. That's probably where all the pieces went.
I pulled mine out b/c it was making noise, and found that there was dirt/leaves/etc filling up over 50% of the evap housing. After getting all that out my HVAC blows like 2-3 times harder.
Just be very careful to not damage the evaporator.

With anything that is spinning, with a small failure, like crack, the centrifugal forces will cause it to fail catastrophically. The more out of balance it is, the greater and faster the cascading of the failure.
