went to change lower body mount for inspection becase the retainer rusted away . while i was loosing it whatever the bolt attaches to broke lose and now i can't remove it at all. anyone know if there is access to the mount from above the driverside floor

 

you have to find the mount in between the lower kick panel, and the fender. not a lot of room to work in. it might be better to go to a bone yard and get a new mount off of a frame and weld it in a new location that you can get at.

 

Lift your carpet up by work that mount is maybe it is rusted through . I have a 94 chevy s10 blazer tahoe 4x4 4 door with the same problem . they have repair panals that just go over the old one . I just welded up my own .
