Default code 13 wont go away

This place is awsome ,wish I had found it sooner .

I have a 92 s15 Jimmy 4x4 with the Vortec 4.3. The o2 code 13 keeps coming on and off when driving .I have replaced the o2 sensor twice with no change .All the wires seem to be in good shape .Was getting codes 43 for knock sensor and code 44 lean burn .Replaced the knock sensor and got rid of that code ,but once in awhile still get a lean burn code ???
It only sets codes when driving down the road .I have checked the FPR and it isnt leaking ,fuel press,is running 60# not running and 54# running ,checked base timing ,new plugs ,new map sensor ,and tps .
When sitting at idle it smells like its burning rich and the dang thing only gets 10 MPG

Any suggestions ???

Have you checked the wire from the O2 sensor to the ECU (Pin D7 purple wire) with a multimeter set to the resistance scale? How about the ECU O2 sensor ground (Pin D6 tan wire)? The ground is only at the ECU so test the resistance to ground.
