The best cold air system is the one from the factory.

All the CAIs I've seen pull air in from the engine compartment, which is kinda hot. The factory air box pulls air in through the grille, which is cooler.

^ i agree. the stock intake is really good, just drop in a nice filter....if you wanted to go with an aftermarket intake make sure you put in a heat shield or get one that comes with it, otherwise its a waste of time and money.

Ok another question same topic, I was reading a post about a guy who put a cold air system on his mustang and it threw his computer off?? Mentioned something about mass air flow coming in and having to retune engine?? So should re-tune be done before or after install?? My jimmy is running like a mad dog as it goes anyways so I thought it wouldn't hurt hahhahhaha Oh and the crome does look so nice!!!

I just bought a Spectre CAI. Came with a Heat-shield and everything. $160 from my local shop. Now if I look past the filter, I see the ground. This means cold air. No my plans are to make something to scoop the air up. Thus creating a RAM AIR!

i love to ram it in!......err.......im talking about intake what are you thinking :P

retune after the install, see if it will be a problem first, might not be as the blazers already have a decent cold air intake
