Default Collection of problems, presumably related?

Hi guys,

Its been a while since i was here with my old T10, now about a year later i got another one (since september) and it started to give me issues now. Its a 1994 T10 Blazer with a 4.3 V6 engine in it.

A little history on it:
Truck started to stutter really bad, turns out the ignition module and rotor were messed up. Garage replaced them and it ran like hell again. When this happened i was towed once, even though we were careful but we reached 80-100 KM/h.

During the stutter period there was no way to read the computer, the code reader keeps telling its not connected and jumping terminal A and B before turning on power does not do anything either.

Also my 4x4 wont engage, once i press the button the lights dont even flash (this means the request is sent to the computer). The lights themselves light up when starting so i know those are not broken. I have checked the fuses (EMB and EMC I?) but could not find anything wrong with them.

I suspect there is something wrong with the computer but i have no further clue what to look for or how to look for more info. Does anyone here have some clues for me (and the garage) on where to look?

Actually the computer is probably fine, for the 4x4 problem please try removing the negative terminal from the battery and reconnect it and see if the 4x4 works. I was having the same issue after I replaced all of my vaccum lines and sensors but I had not yet gotten my map sensor, long story short I had issues with the vacuum system and I think it was causing my transfer case motor " the motor that is on the transfer case" to trip out making me have to rest it to get it to work. I also barrowed a vacuum hand pump tester just to see where my vaccum leaks were comming from and everthing was fine accept the lline going to the transfer case and that is pretty much how I figured I had to rest the transfer case computer.
Also get or barrow a fuel pressure tester from someone or buy one and also make sure your fuel pressure is around 55-60 when cranking and idleing. Honestly these truck always have problems and you will learn quickly life is less stressful not owning a 4.3lvortec engine.

Glad you said something about the ignition control module, this might honestly be the freaking problem I am having.

Well, as far as i know is that the vortec is virtually indestructible if you deal with its quirks. I got no temp for instance, last one had coolant sprayed all over itself because the alternator cut the top radiator hose it was still running and fierce like hell. even running at 1,5l of really old oil did nothing bad to it...

anyway, i tried jumping the A and J terminal and it gave me code 2. Tomorrow im going to try and reset the TCCM and try again, if it shifts im happy if not... i got to keep looking :P

But then there still is the issue of the computer not returning any code to me... but one step at a time right?

and keep me posted about the ignition module, im curious if thats the case :P

*edit*
just reset the TCCM and its working again, thank god... Only thing weird is in order to shift to 4lo you need to shift to or be in N and to go from 4lo to 4Hi you need to shift to or be in park, is that normal? i thought N would work in all cases
