Crank but wont start
I have a 94 jimmy with the 4.3 vortec. It was starting fine last week. It ran out of gas in my driveway. I went ahead and changed all the brake lines cause it needed it. Got that project all done. Ready to start, and it cranks all day long and no start. I primed the fuel pump, since it ran out of gas. Added new gas and some additive. Now it will only crank. NO START. I know the plugs are around 4 years old and are some ****ty champions. Im thinking i need to change out the Fuel Filter. Any ideas would be nice. Just dont understand how a week ago it would start and now nothing. doesn't even try to fire. Even starting fluid into the air intake wont get it to fire at all.

Got it running. Changed out all the spark plugs and she fired right up. Now I have a low oil pressure issue to figure out and small coolant leak from front of engine. I think a lifter is stuck. And for the coolant leak havnt investigated yet. Hoping its just something easy like thermostat housing gasket or something like that. It sat for 4 years so it could be numurous things. Thinking it may be smart to just go ahead and rip it down to the head. Who knows.
