Default dash lights do not work

I have a 94 Blazer with the digital dash and everyonce and a while the dash does not light up at all, it stays completely dark. This includes the speedometer, tach, fuel, and oil. I thought it might just be a loose connection but took it apart and couldn't find anything like that. But I did notice what might be burn marks on parts of the circuit boards, could this be the problem? Any one else have this problem? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Digital dash is probably on the outs....They can be replaced (I think they rebuild old ones and swap them for yours). I had this happen on an old Cavalier, and it was going to be around $350 to swap the bad one for a rebuilt, not sure if it would be the same for a Blazer....

You don't even have to replace it. Do a Google Search for Blazer Digital Dash and look up some of the companies. I think United Radio has the best price/best turn-around (at least with Caprice Digital Clusters). All it needs is refurbished, it's around $100-$150, and you get YOUR cluster back with YOUR mileage on it.
