Default Dexcool and 1989 Heater Core

Have no problem but just wondering.... is Dexcool compatible with the heater core material in my 1989 V-8 conversion? Have no idea what material was used for heater cores in 1989. Been running Dexcool because of all-aluminum radiator and aluminum heads. Also thinking of switching radiator to the Corvette plastic/aluminum one, as the cooling with the one I have right now is not good. Any problem with Dexcool and the rubber seals in any of these radiators?

Thanks in advance

Can't hurt a thing. It protects aluminum, ethylene glycol does not.

I bought an all aluminum heater core in the past, Spectra I believe.
