1992 blazer has push button 4x4

was working 20 minutes ago then i went to push it again and nothing no clicks in dash like before

when i turn key on the light on the switch go on then off

all i did was work on the stereo then nothing for 4x4

i checked the 5amp fuse in box labeled tccm and it is ok

so just to say again i start truck and push 4x4 button nothing at all happens no lights flash no clicking in dash no nothing

any ideas would be greatly appreciated

ok so i messed around with the 4x4 some more

now when i put the truck in nuetral it is auto

then i can push the button it will go into low range but not high range

it will not even try to go to high range unless i put the truck in nuetral

lights will not flash until i shift to nuetral

 

man sounds like your having the same issue as I am. i disconnected the battery for about 30 min and that reset the tccm ( which is located on the pass. side under the dash ) went into 4 wheel high fine but when turned the car off went back to the same problem. I'm thinking the relays in the tccm are bad but if you have fixed your issue please let me know what the problem was hope this help you a little bit
