might have just came off track. pull interior door panel off and see if everything is plugged in and the motor puts the arm up and down.

sometimes it simply just the switch. which u can find in the HELP section of any parts store.can u hear the motor and arm moving.the worse case would be the motor went. they are spring loaded so be careful, but u may have to drill out some rivots. and the new motor should have the 3 sets of nuts/bolts to replace the rivots. either way in the meantime u can wedge up the window by taking off the two blots that hold the window to the slider and placing a piece of wood under the window. u know enough to keep the window up.

Can anyone give me an idea of how complicated it is to remove and replace the motor? Its "spring loaded"... Do I need any special tools?

Thanks

Maybe this post from the "DIY" section will help.

not really, just a socket for the replacement bolts/nuts. the arm when installed needs to be held in place. the "spring load" is more like a tensioner in the motor so the arm will want to swing back!
