Exclamation engine coolant sensor

I recently had my 94 S10 blazer's check engine light come on. After reading the code, I get a code 14 which indicates there is a bad temp. sensor. My issue is previously I have replaced the sensor on the pass side between the plus when I had a gauge reading problem. I now read that there are 2 sensors. Where is the 2nd one located? Also when looking on Autozone, I only find 1 sensor, do they use the same sensor? I seem the remember the one on the side only had 1 wire going to it, but all the sensors I find are 2 wire.

The 2nd sensor is near the water inlet at the front of the intake manifold. It is not the same sensor.

The sensor that the computer uses to calculate coolant temperature is the one next to the water inlet on the top of the manifold. That's the one you need to change. The other sensor, the one in the passenger side cylinder head, is just a simple thermal resistor to run the dash gauge.

One is a "Coolant temp sensor" - the one you need
The other is a "Temp sending unit" - the one you changed.
