i have a 92 4.3 cpi and i idles great but as soon as i give it gas it boggs down and sometimes dies ive replaced the tps iac map and fuel pump i search my problem and i found someone that had the same problem i have and one thing someone suggested was to get the coil and igition cotrol module tested so i did that today and the coil they couldnt get a steady reading so i got a new coil and it still hasnt fixed it im stuck on ideas what else could i try or get tested the there are now ses codes eather

 

You are describing a fuel delivery problem... When is the last time you changed the fuel filter? Did you do one when you did the pump? Did this problem show up before or after the fp was replaced? I would do the fuel filter again anyways just in case you picked up some water in the tank... a fuel filter will not pass water and will "clog".

 

i did a filter 2 months ago when i did a full tune up i flushed the tank and it was in the back my blazer for 2 weeks so it was bone dry when i put it back in i was told it might be my cat could that be true

 

it was doing this before but i could drive it for a short period then it would do the syptoms i have now the fuel pressure when running is at 55 and when i give it gas it jumps up to 58 to 60
