Engine missing

If you have an engine light, whats the code?
No engine light? Then its fuel related and you should check the injection spider for a leak... This is an incredibly common problem on these engines when they get to this age.
Pull off the vortec cover on top of engine. Remove that black puck like thing, shine a light in that hole... It should be completely black in there. If you see any gold at all you have a fuel leak which explains your missfire
I really gotta make a copy/paste of this info so i can stop typing it everyday

Just cause they did the spider, doesnt mean they did the hoses.
Im willing to bet the expensive spider was ok, and the fpr was leaking, so they sold you the whole spider unit instead of just the hoses and fpr... The spiders failing is fairly uncommon.
