exhaust manifold

I'm removing my exhaust manifold on the driver side of my 89 blazer 2wd 4.3l v6. i need to know if i can remove it and put it back on, or do I need to seal it before reattatching. I'm getting it out of the way to replace my oil dipstick tube.

RE: exhaust manifold

You will need a new exhaust manifold gasket and it wouldn't hurt to put new grade 8 hardware in.
