Fuel pressure is perfect But Flooding
1993 4.3L Vortec Engine Vin W
Replaced Heads and Gaskets and all the inbetween stuff
New Nut kit, New FPR, USED INJECTOR w/ spider poppit nozzels
Under the plenum there is no liquid gas showing
Showing Good Vacuum
Showing constant Fuel pressure running and with key on Leaks off very slowly without engine running.
Symptoms: Smokes Like Crazy, leaves Black soot when revved up, will die if run hard then come to a stop.
Could The injector or Nozzels be misfuctioning and flooding one cylinder and hold good pressure?

I would never recommend someone install a used spider. Just too much potential for problems.
It is very likely that the spider is the cause, but to be sure, take a look at how each injector is spraying. Remove the coil wire from the coil. Remove all 6 poppet nozzles from their respective ports in the lower intake manifold and put them each in small jars. Hook up a ground & power wire to the injector (the ground can be constant, but the power wire should be switched - I use a hand held starter button for this). Now provide power to the pump via the fuel pump prime connector. Lift each poppet nozzle up and observe the spray pattern as you energize the injector. Do not energize the injector for more than a few seconds each time though.
