Default Heater Core

I am replacing my heater core Friday of this week and I am wondering if anyone has any advice before I just jump in blindly. I have never changed a heater core, but my step dad (previous owner of my truck) has replaced it before. It's a '92 S-10 Blazer.

Its not to bad, I replace two of them on my 92, after I replaces the 1st one, I said I would never do so again, but I did! It just takes time & patients, patients taking all the screws out, not losing any of them, & putting them all back in.

The only difficulty I remember was getting the new heater core in the right position, I believe I had a bit of trouble with that both times.

I'll bet it was super fun, I hope my blazer blows up before I have to replace my heater core again. All I rember is bloody knuckles, freezing because it was winter time, and also thinking to myself why you have to take the entire daskboard off just to get to the heater core.
