Does anybody know where I can find a heater core cover for my truck (94 2dr S10 Tahoe LT VIN W) The heater core is completely exposed under the dash. When using heat hot air blows out on the passenger side floor, regardless of the setting.




Could really use input. Defrosters are useful in the winter!!

 

Junkyard would be the best bet and cheapest. But are you sure its the cover thats your problem and not the selector switch or divertors in the dash. I know a bad vacuum could cause the switch not to work.

 

Yeah. I just bought the truck this summer and replaced the heater core about a month ago. When i got under the dash to replace it there was no cover. So now I have heat but its only on the passenger floor. Selector works i tested it to make sure.

 

Yes, a u-pull-it yard would be the best. That is a big cover. I would bet it would be big money at a dealer!
