well i got the core from napa for $40 and on the way home the blower motor decided to just not work. popped the hood and found a loose connection under the blower motor, but god damn im getting sick of the little bull****.

I tore apart the kick panels and glove box, didnt remove radio yet, but i still dont know how im going to get to it lol. i cant even see where it is. hopefully when its not raining and dark ill have a better idea.

Im going to do the heater core tomorrow. i dont have the time today, i got off work at 7am this morning slept till 12 now i have to go back at 7pm tonight. maybe tomorrow ill just come home from work at 7am and get to it, because if i sleep i wont wake up till around 3 and my day is shot then. Thanks for all the help.

if you don't pull the dash, i'll lay money on your core leaking in the near future. but far enough away that you'll think it wasn't related.

good to see you're making headway. even better to see you're finding it as easy as Blazin_Jason & i told ya.

UPDATE!!! Job well done (so far so good) took about 10 mins to drain the radiator, disconnect the hoses, and pull out the heater core. Took another 20 mins to put the new core in and hook up the hoses and secure the straps and fill the radiator. I tested the system and so far so good!!!. I had to bend the aluminum tubes alittle bit to fit better but im talking about less than 1/4 inch. I put it all back together and not one screw left over!! I am pretty pleased with the repair and hopefully never have to do it again. If i do however i think it will be much easier lol.

Again thanks to all who posted here and helped me out. I basically used that syclone post as a manual.

you're asking about the p/u's not the Blazer's, right? i've seen a few people refer to the Blazer's as just S10 (don't know why). but to answer your question, yes.

yes, its a 95 S10 pick up truck with an extended cab and 6' foot bed. it also has a vortec "W" CPI engine. so the heater core procedure is the same then? also how can i put my truck info in my signature like you did?

yep, all the same. it doesn't matter (for the inside of the truck) what engine is in it, or if it's a reg cab or ext cab, p/u or SUV-don't get all nit picky with the year change overs, i'm talking same gen trucks-they're all the same in the dash.

as for my sig, just click on the "User CP" icon @ the top left corner, of the dark grey banner above us. then you'll see under "Settings & Options" along the left side, in the dark grey again (3rd group down). 2nd option down in that group is your "Edit Signature". just click on it, and it'll take you to where you can add or edit your sig.

boy it sounds so simple now, i must have spent a good 20 minutes trying to fit it all in there-and that's only a small fraction of what i tried to put in (only kept the really important ones in it).

good luck on your sig bigdaddy.
