Ok, here is what I have done, replaced the thermosat again, also replaced houses and water pump. Also heater core and did the thing where u can clean everything out. I get semi warm air, but I also have this problem near the thermosat housing where it links a tad, not alot but noticeable. The coolant lvl is where its suppose to be and I am wondering if there is a known issue with the intake mainfold havinga problem after solong with staying smooth there the thermosat housing is sealing right?

Was there a black rubber seal around the rim of the t-stat? I ran into the same problem on my '93 Blazer. It was heating poorly so I went to Advance Auto and bought a replacement t-stat and they give me the paper gasket for the neck but no rubber seal. I pulled the neck off and the previous owner did not put the rubber seal on either. After seeing thegroove in the intake for the seal I called Advance and urged them to research the seal and sure enough there was one available. The absence of this seal allows the fluid to flow around the t-stat causing the engine to never reach operating temp.

Is there buildup around the intake manifold at all??? As in gunk or grease/oil buildup??? Also the two hoses leading to heater core are they hot at all???

 

There is a possibilty that something has fallen through your dash vent and found it's way into the ducting and is stopping the baffle from completely shutting off the cold air side. If the engine comes up to operating temp (190 - 200 deg. ) and the heater hoses are hot and you know there's no blockage in the heater core the baffle position is the only thing left. Let's hope not though because it's a real project to dis-assemble the ducting under the dash.
